Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize the accounts payable operations, managing payments to marketplace sellers and vendors exceeding INR 10,000 Cr with a team of 6.
- Develop and execute long-term strategies for payables in alignment with finance and procurement goals.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Commercial, Tax, and FP&A teams to enhance working capital efficiency and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage banking partnerships and PA/PG systems to support scale and efficiency.
- Lead cash management and forecasting, ensuring sufficient liquidity across global entities.
- Oversee the company’s insurance portfolio including property, liability, cyber, marine, and IPO insurance for a business throughput value exceeding INR 50,000 Cr.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and maintain strong internal controls.
- Leverage analytics, automation, and AI-driven tools to improve payables processes and reporting.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in AP, controllership, treasury, and insurance portfolios, preferably in high-growth startups or tech companies.
- Proficient with banking systems, digital payments, ERP (SAP/Oracle preferred), Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to drive cross-functional projects.
