About the Role

Pocket FM is seeking talented Freelance Fiction Writers to craft compelling, original audio stories. As a Junior Writer, you will focus on creating episodic content across various genres, including romance, thriller, and sci-fi, designed to captivate audio audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Write original fiction scripts for audio in genres like romance, thriller, and sci-fi.
• Develop engaging story arcs and relatable characters.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to meet deadlines and integrate feedback.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of fiction writing experience (scripts, short stories, etc.).
• Strong storytelling and character development abilities.
• Understanding of audio storytelling elements such as pacing and dialogue.

Eligibility

• Self-motivated and deadline-oriented individuals.
• Prior experience in writing for podcasts or audio is a plus.
• Familiarity with Pocket FM’s content style is desirable.
